So we will change our strategy a little bit.  Again, I like to look for items with a high volume, so I can buy and sell for a sure bet profit.  My target item now is flax.  This is one of the highest volume items traded in the past 30 days on Runescape.  In addition, it is on a slight upwards trend, so chances are I can put in a low buy order, and maybe squeeze out an additional gp or two on the sale.

Put in your buy orders at 86 GP, and sell at 92 GP.  Not the kind of spread I like, as a percentage it is lower than my usual spread, but still a solid money maker at 6 gp per item.  Buy in bunches of 1000 if you can to make it worth while trading.

If you cannot trade flax, I am also looking at bones, put in your buy orders at 65, sell at 69-70.  Again, thinner margin than I like, but a good money maker nonetheless.

I will be keeping an eye on the shrimp market in the coming days, and will start trading shrimp again should the numbers be in our favor, but right now is not a good time to be a shrimp trader.  If your gp is low, and you need to trade the shrimp to make money, lower volumes should still do ok, but I would be hesitant to buy large quantities of shrimp right now.

Today’s item of choice is cooked shrimp.  Cooked shrimp are not one of the top traded items on the grand exchange of Runescape, but they do work for what we are looking for.

Right now, cooked shrimp sell for 3 gp each.  You can buy them for 2 gp each.  Sounds pretty small time, but if you buy at 2 gp and sell at 3 gp, you are making a 50% profit on each transaction.

The downside to this is that cooked shrimp are not one of the most traded items on the grand exchange of Runescape.  You will not be able to buy 500,000 cooked shrimp at 2 gp and sell for 3 gp in one day.

The orders need to be smaller to get filled, and will take longer on both the buy and sell side in general.  A good way to work this trading into your game is to set your buy order before you log off, or before you venture out on a quest or whatnot.  When  you log back in or return from your quest, you can check on your order.

Buying and selling cooked shrimp on the Grand Exchange can make you good money.  50% profit, plus you can get started no matter how much gp you have.  In fact, this grand exchange trading strategy works best in smaller batches, say under 10,000 shrimp per order.

Today we are going to look at how to use the Runescape grand exchange to make money regardless of how new you are to the game.  Yes, even if you only have 500 gp, you can still use the grand exchange to make more money!

Of course, the more money you have, the more you can make, but if you get started now, you can become an expert at using the Runescape grand exchange to manufacture money.

This is the Runescape Grand Exchange, use it to make money!

The way to make money on the Runescape grand exchange is to buy low and sell high.  That is great, but what should you buy?  Well, if you are just getting started, I reccomend buying feathers.

Feathers are great for making money.  They are one of the most traded items on the Runescape grand exchange, so you will always find a buyer.

Also, they are a cheap item.  You can buy them for 5 gp, and sell them for 6 gp.  Even with only 500 gp, you can buy 100 at a time, then leverage up.

But I’m only making 1 gp on this transaction!  Common complaint, but look at it this way.  You are not making only 1 gp, you are making 20% on this transaction. 

By choosing an inexpensive item with high volume, even selling for just 1gp more can make you good profits over the long term.

If you always have an offer in at the Runescape Grand Exchange, you will be making money even while not logged in.  Set your buy order for 5 gp, then go on a quest, or do something else you would normally be doing. 

Return when you are done, take the feathers you have bought out, then put them back up for sale for 6 gp.  They will sell very quickly, then  you can place another buy order.

Cut logs.  You will increase your ability, plus you can sell them at the Grand Exchage to make money.

Mine.  Go South of the Grand Exchange to the small mining area.  There is one rock that contains clay.  Mine this clay and sell it at the Grand Exhange for a good profit.

Once you get off training island, make your way towards the Grand Exchange.  On the way, stop off where the cows are located.  Kill cows, and collect their bones, meat and hides.  You can sell this all at the grand exchange.  Between the meat, bones and hide, you can easily make over 200 gp for each cow you kill!

Once your mining level and smithing level are both to level 30, start to smith coal and iron.  Once you have 1k of each, turn them all into bars.  Next, go to an avil and turn all of the bars into steel or iron weapons.  Sell these for big profits!

Get some trout, then head out to the wilderness.  Find a fenced area and pick up all the planks and bones you can find.  Then head to the Grand Exchange and sell for a good profit!
